Tractor Mounted CPT

GDNZ CPT Penetrometer

This rig is designed for cone penetration tests. The small dimensions and the weight (~2000 kg) make it easy to transport. The rig has 200kn of push with the aid of 4 anchors. The mast can be tilted forwards and backwards as well as up and down, this makes the anchoring procedure more efficient and creates the ability to always make a vertical sounding. Being tractor mounted makes the rig very portable over large sites where access may be difficult.
